Just as the people of God worship the name of Christ together on Sunday morning, we also live under the banner of Christ together throughout the week. Community Groups are a high priority at All Saints. We want everyone to belong to one. They are a place for spiritual and personal growth, a means of integrating those who are new to our community, and a place to use our gifts for one another.
It is impossible to be a Christian on our own. As one writer put it, "As for wise counsel, a warm hug, or a swift kick in the rear, those are rather hard to self-administer." We need each other! For more information on Community Groups, contact Pastor Brian Douglas.
We have Christian Formation classes for all ages which teaches children how to read the Bible as a true story of redemption—how God is setting the world right again through his Son Jesus. They are also given a strong theological foundation through catechism training. And we teach them practical theology like how to pray, how to discover their calling in life, how to commune with God.
The goal of our Men’s Ministry is to ensure that our church and families, in this generation and the next, are led by faithful, gracious, courageous, Christ-like men. We believe that building men of character and conviction is one of the highest priorities in the mission of the church. Discipleship and Bible studies will make up the nucleus of our ministry. Other special events tailored especially for men round out our focus on equipping men to “act like men.”
The goal of our Women’s Ministry is to glorify, enjoy, and pursue God and his kingdom of peace in Christ. We accomplish this by encouraging, fostering, practicing, modeling, and teaching Christ-centered womanhood, growth in our love relationship with the Lord, and growth in the iron-sharpening-iron relationships we have with other women. We trust that the overflow of these things will minister to our church, our families, and impact others in every sphere, leading them to deeper relationships with the Lord Jesus Christ. We provide a weekly Bible Study for women and events during the year.
We support missionary partners in this country and around the world. We also have short-term missions trips and an annual Missions Conference. For more information, contact our Missions Committee Chairman.
During the school year, we have two adult classes, both beginning at 9a.m. The Foundations Class covers the basics of a understanding of God's Word. The Scripture Class is an dialogical Bible study covering books of the Bible. This year we'll be covering Exodus and the Book of Acts.
